Mid Week Inspiration From the Heart

Happy Wednesday!  I wanted to share a card I made with a darling image from From the Heart Stamps.  This is Prickles Says Hello -

I really had fun coloring this cutie up with Copic markers and then little flicks using a white Jelly Roll pen.  So fun!

I want to thank everyone for their positive vibes and prayers for Faith and ask that you keep it up!

Thanks for stopping in!

It's time for another CRAFT Challenge!  We would love for you to join us in creating a Christmas creation.

Our Sponsor this week is -

Nikki has some seriously beautiful images in her store.  I was fortunate enough to use Dove Snow Winter Fairy Neva -

This image is gorgeous, but it was almost more that my poor little coloring skills could handle.  There is a lot of sparkle that doesn't show in this photo, which is actually pretty nice.  Overall, I am pleased with the way it turned out.

We would love for you to join us this week at CRAFT Challenge.  Head on over an link up for a chance to win 3 Nikki Burnett images of your choice.

Thanks for stopping by!

PS - I would to join in the following challenges

Surf's Up at Little Red Wagon

Hi everyone!  Well, school is starting here and Summer is winding down other places, so I thought it might be fun to do a Surf's Up challenge to usher it out with style.  Now, for this challenge I had in mind, literally surfing or ocean type scenes with mermaid or fishes...but to make it easier lets just go with anything tropical.

Here's my card featuring a Sandra Caldwell image from Babycakes Digis and Designs -

He is called Bearly a Surfer, and I just love him!  Quite honestly I love all of Sandra's designs.

I'm hoping you'll join us this week at Little Red Wagon.  We are looking forward to seeing what your create!

Got Love

It's The Cat's Pajamas TCP Tuesday Challenge day!  This time we are asking to see your paper piecing skills.  There are so many cute sets that lend themselves well to paper piecing, I had a hard time deciding which to ink up.

This cutie pie Penguin won out.  He's the star of Got Love.  Here's what happened -

Here are the details -

  1. Every other Tuesday a new challenge will be posted on The Cat’s Pajamas blog and our Facebook page.
  2. If you want to play along you just upload your design to The Cat’s Pajamas blog page using the InLinkz button by the Monday, 11:55 EDT before the next challenge.
  3. You are not required to use a Cat’s Pajamas stamp or die but if you have them we would love to see them.
  4. On the following TCP Tuesday, the winner will be chosen from the previous challenge and will receive a Cat Cash Voucher for $10 or $15 if a TCP product is used.
If you need your mojo kick started, the Cat Pack has plenty to inspire you.   Stop in and visit JulieStacey and Wendy.  Thanks so much for stopping by.  Looking forward to seeing your wonderful creations!

OK, so back to the you know, it's time for a new sketch over at From the Heart Stamps.  We're switching things up just a bit for this challenge.  We have 4 blasts from the past and we want you to choose the  sketch and/or tWist of your choice to use with a FtHS image.

You can see all the sketches on the FtH blog here.  Here's the sketch I chose to use -

And here's my card using Super Birdbrain -

Just a reminder that you must use a From the Heart Stamps image to enter the challenge.  For now the prizes will be on hold so Faith can focus on getting well.  We love looking at your creations, so the DT will continue to select a Top 3.
